Port Manchac offers transportation flexibility for all carriers. It is strategically located in southern Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, next to Interstate 55 which easily feeds onto Interstates 10, 12 and 59. Two rail spurs, plus 4,000 feet of storage track, are ideal for bulk, break-bulk and general cargo transfers. Plus, the facility’s three docks can handle bulk and break-bulk cargo and are accessible by barge via the Industrial Canal and Lake Pontchartrain. The facility also features two 30,000 square-foot warehouses.
The primary products moving through Port Manchac are break-bulk cargoes such as wood and steel products, as well as bulk cargoes and liquid cargoes transferred from rail to truck.
