Supervisors and members of management recently participated in Associated Terminals’ leadership forum.

More than one hundred team members gathered for the open forum style meeting. Topics discussed included safety, marketing, industry conditions, maintenance, logistics and human resources.

The event focused on the importance of teamwork and communication. The main purpose was to make these two components more effective between departments.

Through the years, these values have allowed Associated to become the leading provider of stevedoring and logistical services on the Lower Mississippi River. This forum is another example of Associated’s commitment to continuous improvement.

provide world class service to our customers,”  said David Fennelly, President.
Fennelly also said: “Constant communication is crucial as we continue to experience growth throughout our company.”

“I enjoyed the discussion by each group,” said Marc Cantrell, Logistics Manager. “It is interesting to see how everything intertwines as we work together to determine where we are headed as a company.”
