15 Years with Dawn Remondet

At Associated Terminals, we take immense pride in celebrating the accomplishments and milestones of our team members. Today, we are taking the time to congratulate Dawn Remondet on her 15 year work anniversary at Associated Terminals!

Dawn started as a payroll clerk for Associated back in 2009, and continually moved up the ranks due to her hard work and diligence. She first became an HR coordinator, then an HR Generalist, before becoming a Senior Generalist. She was then promoted to our Human Resources Manager and still works hard at this role today in 2024. Dawn describes her role as “helping all of our team members with their various needs on a daily basis.”

Reflecting on her tenure at Associated Terminals, Dawn highlights Mark Pisani as someone who had taken on a mentor role in her eyes, explaining how he has always been a great role model and has always been supportive. Further, when thinking about the past fifteen years, Dawn shares that she takes the most pride in her professional growth, and she greatly appreciates the way Associated Terminals has allowed her career to grow as the company takes on its own growth.

Dawn’s favorite part of her job has been the ability to meet new people everyday on the job and being in a position to help them all.

As someone with a long, impressive career, Dawn’s best advice to a new hire is to “listen and learn.” She shares some of the best steps to take in order to succeed include seeking feedback, building relationships, communicating effectively, and taking initiative on the job.

Outside of work, Dawn takes great pride in her family. Her and her husband have just built their ‘forever home’ and are loving their new place. She has two sons, one daughter in law, and she is excited to welcome another daughter in law to the family soon. Her favorite things to do include watching sports (especially LSU sports), and having family over for great food, games, and fun.
